Concept: centaurs

ENJOY SOMETHING THAT ISN'T A BLEEDING DEER IN A BLINDFOLD!

I’m pretty excited about these guys, ngl! With December fast approaching (YAAAYYYYkdlsjfds) I get to stop staring at vampires and play around in my other headworlds. The critters above are the first draft of my own centaur race I’m working on for my Zahaho setting. I’ve loved horsiebutt people for years and years and I think it’s high time I start making my own. I want a species to play with and create a culture for and I think these guys will do nicely!

I wanted to make them look a little unique (though I’m sure a long, rounded snout/face has been done before) instead of just having them be a human stuck on a horse body. I may fiddle around with their faces soon. There may even be other species with a different face structure.

I’m also gonna try and come up with an actual name for their people instead of just ‘wolfy’s dumb centaurs’ and ‘horsiebutt people’. I know some of the mainland folk (humans etc) call them ‘long faces’ because they’re creative like that.

And an itty bitty longface Maurytaur because why not?
